Need a hand with Fibber’s Bluff? Here's what you need to know to get a game going, plus how to reach us if something isn't working right.

Minimum System Requirements

Requires iOS 18 or later
Compatible with iPhone and iPad (portrait)
2 to 6 players in the same room, each with their own iPhone or iPad and Fibber’s Bluff installed
Wi-Fi turned on (no Wi-Fi network needed)

Everyone needs Fibber’s Bluff open, close together, with Wi-Fi switched on. You don’t need an internet connection or a Wi-Fi network.
One player hosts: Player Matching → Wi-Fi → Host a Game.
Everyone else taps Join a Game, then the host’s name. The host accepts each player, then starts the show.
When iOS asks, allow Local Network access. If you tapped Don’t Allow, turn it back on in Settings → Fibber’s Bluff.
Can’t find each other? Make sure Wi-Fi is on on every device (Control Center is fine; you don’t need to join a network), then close and reopen Fibber’s Bluff on every device and try again.

Type a name of up to 15 characters on the Nearby screen, or leave it blank to play as Player 1, Player 2, and so on.
Signed in to Game Center? Your nickname is filled in for you, and your Game Center photo shows on your player badge.
