Privacy Policy

Fibber’s Bluff is a party game for 2 to 6 players in the same room: one player tells a story that may or may not be true, and everyone else bets on whether it’s a bluff. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.

Information We Collect

Fibber’s Bluff does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on our servers or anyone else’s. The app has no accounts of its own, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking.

Your Name

You can type a name of up to 15 characters to play under, or leave it blank and play as Player 1, Player 2, and so on. The last name you typed is saved on your device only, so it’s filled in next time. It is shown to the other players in your game and is never sent to us.

Playing With Nearby Players

Fibber’s Bluff connects the players’ devices directly over Wi-Fi using Apple’s peer-to-peer networking, which is why iOS asks for Local Network access. Everything the game needs to share, such as player names and photos, prompts, answers, wagers, and scores, travels between the devices in your game over an encrypted connection and does not pass through any server. That information is discarded when the game ends.

Game Center

If you are signed in to Game Center, Fibber’s Bluff uses your Game Center nickname to fill in your name and shows your Game Center photo on your player badge. To show your photo to the other players, a small copy of it is sent directly to their devices in your game, and it is not kept after the game. Game Center itself is Apple’s service, covered by Apple’s privacy policy. We do not receive, copy, or store your Game Center information.

Third-Party Services

Fibber’s Bluff does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services. Apple may provide us with anonymous crash and usage statistics through TestFlight and the App Store if you have chosen to share them with developers in your device settings.

Children’s Privacy

Fibber’s Bluff does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated date.
